Oregon CE renewal: common questions

How many CE hours do Oregon real estate brokers need?

30 hours for each active license renewal. That applies to brokers, principal brokers and property managers.

What changed on January 1, 2026?

Every active renewal now includes a 2-hour Fair Housing course. To keep the total at 30 hours, LARRC and Advanced Practices were adjusted to 2 hours each.

What do I need for later renewals?

The 2-hour Fair Housing course, LARRC, and enough additional CE from certified providers to reach 30 hours.

Can extra hours carry over?

No. If you complete more than 30 hours, the extra hours don't count toward a future renewal.
