How to get and keep an Alabama real estate license

  1. Complete the 60-hour prelicense course

    Then pass the exam within 6 months.

  2. Pass the Pearson VUE exam

    Your passing score is good for 90 days.

  3. Complete 30 hours of post-license

    Within 6 months to stay active; it covers your first renewal CE.

  4. Renew every 2 years with 15 hours of CE

    Risk Management plus 12 elective hours, by Sept. 30 of even years.
