How to get and keep a Florida real estate license

  1. Complete the 63-hour pre-licensing course

    FREC Course I, including the end-of-course exam.

  2. Pass the state exam

    100 questions in 3.5 hours with Pearson VUE; 75 to pass.

  3. Complete 45 hours of post-licensing

    Before your first renewal, 18 to 24 months after licensing.

  4. Renew every 2 years with 14 hours of CE

    3 hrs Core Law, 3 hrs Ethics and Business Practices, 8 hrs specialty.
