Getting an Oregon real estate license: common questions
How many hours of pre-license education does Oregon require?
150 hours of broker pre-license education from an Agency-approved real estate school. Only courses completed on or after January 1, 2013 count.
Do I apply before or after the course?
Before. Apply in eLicense and pay the $300 fee; you'll get an Applicant ID by email, which you give to your school so it can make you eligible for the exam.
Where do I get fingerprinted?
At a PSI test center, when you're there for your exam.
When is my license issued?
Once your background check clears, your managing principal broker adds your pending license to the business, and the Agency finishes its final review.
