Oklahoma CE renewal: common questions
How many CE hours do Oklahoma sales associates need?
Resident sales associates need 30 hours per renewal: 13 required hours (6 hours of Contracts and Forms, 3 of Professional Conduct, and 1 hour each of Broker Relationship Act, Code and Rules, Fair Housing and Hot Topic) and 17 hours in any category.
Who counts as a resident?
It depends on your brokerage. If you're affiliated with an Oklahoma-based brokerage, you're a resident; with an out-of-state brokerage, you're a non-resident, provided you hold an active license and complete CE in that other state.
What if I don't finish CE before my renewal date?
Your license changes to Lapsed status. If you complete the CE within a year of the expiration date, you can still renew through the License Portal.
Do inactive licensees need CE?
No, but any CE you skipped on your most recent inactive renewal must be done before you return to active status.
