Massachusetts real estate exam: common questions
How many questions are on the Massachusetts salesperson exam?
120: 80 on the General portion (150 minutes) and 40 on the State portion (90 minutes). A few unscored experimental questions may also appear and count against your time.
What score do I need to pass?
At least 70% correct.
What happens if I miss my exam?
You'll pay a $54 retake fee to reschedule. The $85 exam fee isn't refundable or transferable and is valid for one year from the date you paid.
When does my license start?
Your license issue date is the date you pass the exam, and it expires on your birthday two to three years later.
