New York real estate exam: common questions
How long is the New York salesperson exam?
You get an hour and a half for the multiple-choice exam, which is based on the 77-hour pre-licensing curriculum. The clock starts when the instructions end.
Will I see my score?
No. Results are reported only as passed or failed, and you check them in your eAccessNY account. They aren't given over the phone.
How long is a passing result valid?
Two years. Apply for your license through eAccessNY within that time.
What should I bring?
A current, government-issued photo ID with your signature, and the "Summary of Your Submission" page you printed when you scheduled. Silent, non-printing calculators without an alphabetic keyboard are allowed.
