Illinois real estate exam: common questions
How many questions are on the Illinois broker exam?
The National portion has 100 questions with 150 minutes, and the State portion has 40 questions with 90 minutes. A few unscored experimental questions may be added.
What score do I need to pass?
70% on the National portion and 75% on the State portion. PSI notes the 70% National passing score equals the scaled score of 75 it used to report.
Can I take the exam online?
Yes. PSI offers live online proctored exams as well as test centers. Check your computer's compatibility first, and launch within 15 minutes of your booked time or you forfeit the fee.
How do I schedule?
Create an account at test-takers.psiexams.com/ilrep and upload your course certificate. PSI emails you once you're approved to schedule.
