Utah CE renewal: common questions
How many CE hours do Utah sales agents need?
18 hours of certified real estate CE each renewal cycle, with at least 9 core topic hours. Three of those core hours must be a Division-approved 3-hour mandatory course.
When do I have to finish my CE?
By the 15th of your renewal month, to make sure your renewal is on time.
What if my license expires?
Renew within 30 days with the 18 hours and a $50 late fee. From 31 days to 12 months, it's a $100 reinstatement fee plus reactivating with a brokerage. After 12 months, you relicense as a new applicant.
When can I renew?
No sooner than 45 days before your expiration date, up to 11:59 p.m. on that date.
